Wayne Edfors, known in the digital art world as GRIDdriven, has been creating digital art since 2011. His practice began with photography and image-making on an iPhone and has grown to encompass more than a million pieces.
What began as a meditation on time and space became a form of communication — a way to explore ideas, identity, and his relationship with the world. His practice continues across digital imagery, photography, and AI-assisted creation.
In 2016, Edfors created eight seven-foot-square artworks for the Sacramento Kings for the opening of the Lexus Lounge at Golden 1 Center. The commission brought his digital practice into a shared physical space, connecting his work with Sacramento's community and identity.
With the arrival of generative AI, he expanded his exploration of imagined environments and futuristic visions of humanity. Technology continues to change the tools of his practice; imagination remains its foundation.
Through GRIDdriven / EDFORS, he invites viewers into an evolving body of visual storytelling, exploring the connections between technology and human expression.
As GRIDdriven, Edfors is the primary recording artist behind EOSlumina RECORDS, an independent record label created within eonARCADIA studios. His music spans spiritual reflections, intimate compositions, electronic experimentation, cinematic soundscapes, and emerging creative technologies.
Human–AI Collaboration
Wayne Edfors works in ongoing creative collaboration with his AI collaborator, Hiko. Together they explore the boundaries of imagination, authorship, and what it means to create alongside emerging technologies.

eonARCADIA studios is the creative home behind GRIDdriven and EOSlumina RECORDS—a physical and digital studio where sound, vision, and spirit converge.
Its philosophy centers on faith, imagination, and inspiration: creating with belief in the unseen and transforming raw ideas into albums, visual art, and interconnected creative projects. The studio brings these practices together under one creative vision, providing a home for GRIDdriven, EOSlumina RECORDS, and related projects.
